Why Wait to Learn how to Skate?
Wherever you are, "Learn to Skate Songs" can teach you how-to skate on
quads, ice and inline skates, right now! Follow along on ya feet and learn how to skate to the beat.

Who Teaches the Classes?
The Dr. Seuss and Sir Isaac Newston of Skating, Jenny Jen!
Her rhymes teach the world how-to skate on quads, ice and inlines.

What Do Beginner Classes Cover?
How to Stand, Skate, Turn, Stop (4 ways), Prevent Mistakes Beginners Make,
Change Terrains Smooth like a Snake, Safely Escape, Maintain Skates & More!

How Much Does a Class Cost?
Beginner Group.....$25 per person
Semi-Private.........$30 per person (2 or more)
Private.................$50 one person

When are Classes Offered?
Private and semi-private classes are available at your convenience.

What Do I Need to Bring?
Skates (Inline, Rollerblades, Quad or Rollerskater) and full protective gear required.
Full gear includes properly fitting helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads.
Water is highly recommended.

What Should I Wear?
Something comfortable that you can move in and that velcro won't ruin.
Don't forget your socks!

What If I Want to Learn More Advanced Moves, like Skating Backwards,
Cross-Overs and/or Speed Skating?
Advanced classes are also available.

What About the Weather?
Classes are outdoors, weather permitting.

How Long are the Classes?
Classes are 1 hour. Allow extra time to gear up.

I need directions to SKATE 101 at 1 Boathouse Row?
SKATE 101 is located directly behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Public Transportation
SEPTA, Philadelphia's Public Transit System, buses Nos. 7, 32, 38, 43, 48, 76 take you to the Art Museum.
Driving Directions
NOTE: Special events in the Art Museum and Fairmount Park areas may cause delays and detours.

Where can I Park?
FREE Parking on the streets and in the parking lot (One Boathouse Row at Kelly Drive).
